Mac Posted January 29, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2006 We were on the Explorer 3 years ago it's a great ship so much to see and do you won't be bored at all, going again in May. The staff and cruise director at that time were lots of fun pool side they always keep you busy if you chose to participate if not just watch, if you want a quiet pool theres one for adults only or theres a pool for everyone, jacuzzis are always open. The entertainment in the evening was very entertaining, if you can try to see all the show's some looked like they came off of Broadway. The headliners are some times top celebritys, we have seen many in past cruises. The game show's and other activitys are a must to see they are so funny. The food in the dinning room and windjammer was very good so much to pick from depending on your taste. Many places to sit and have a drink, if you like gambling theres a realy nice casino on board, they even have a small movie theater which played top rated movies. If your hungry late at night in the pomanade theres pizza, sandwhichs, fruites, deserts, cookies to die for. Believe me you will have a great time. Hope this helped a little, anyother questions I might help you with please ask.
medic123 Posted January 29, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2006 The EOS is my favorite ship. We had a blast. I don't remember the Capt name but he did a great job. We sailed in Sept and had to deal with one hurricane and one TS during our cruise. We made all ports, on time, without any problems. We had a couple of days of rough seas but that is cruising in hurricane season. The CD was Clo and she is wondeful. I saw more of her than I have ever seen of any other CD. The entire crew is very friendly and cheerful. You will love this ship.
