Stopped in Punta Cana on Celebrity Equinox  (april 2019) and theres nothing there once you get to port with tenders. Few shops, arts and stuff...

Beautiful and clean, but you have to make reservations with the cruiseline for excursons, or wait to you get to port.

There are a few stands there that offers excursions, and they sell tours to beach resorts.

We bought a tour  with Cruise Cap Cana when we got there, and paid $15 per person (roundtrip)

Wich included transfer and beach loungers at Api Beach Resort.

Beautiful place, clean and nice. Nice beach, super service, good drinks and food. Highly recommended.

Did you guys figure Punta Cana out? We are doing same ship & port in April. All my reading seems to say have a planned excursion in DR...I had really just planned on sitting on a beach in DR. I'm not having much luck finding good info.
