Tours to Mont St Michel from St Malo at the port, day of arrival

Hello,

 

My wife and I are on the Azamara Journey leaving Southampton on Aug 27 and arriving at St-Malo next morning. The ship excursion we want to Mont St Michel  is closed to online sales and I think it will be too rushed to get something once we board. I don't know how many seats will be remaining for those to purchase once on board. 

 

 Has anyone been to St-Malo and can advise whether there are any local operators at the dock who have day trips to Mont St-Michel?  Thanks in advance.

It is very unlikely (nearly impossible) to find local tour operators soliciting business in St Malo.  You might try posting on your CC Roll Call board to see if anyone is organizing a private tour.  Another option is to rent a car and drive yourself.  I believe that Sixt has a location in St Malo and there might be some others.  It is a relatively easy drive.

Thanks for the advice. Rental car remains an option or get on board and to the tour office right away to see what is available.
