doones2 Posted August 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Any suggestions where to have the taxi stop to get wine on our way to Port Everglades. We will be coming from the airport. Couldn’t fly in day before for work obligations

Wine-O Posted August 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2019 You can probably pre-pay your wine with Total Wine so they will have it ready for you to stop in, pick up, then head for the port. 🍷

The Publix is at 1940 Cordova Road. I could not find a street named Harbordale, but there's an area near the port with that name, and I think we might be talking about the same shopping center. mscinmia Posted August 21, 2019 #12 Share Posted August 21, 2019 There is also a Walgreens with a liquor store on Stirling & Federal Hwy. And a CVS on the corner of 17th St and Federal Hwy. Both the Publix and Total Wine in the Harbor Shops are in the neighborhood called Harbordale. There is also a Crown Liquor and Winn Dixie on the other side Cordova and 17th St.

doones2 Posted August 21, 2019 Author #15 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Total wine it is. I went on their website and they have the wine I want and I can order ahead of time. Thank you so much for all your recommendations. I love this forum. 😍
Nado44 Posted August 21, 2019 #16 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Total Wine at 1906 Cordova is our go-to as well. Order your booze online in advance of your arrival. Free pickup and go. We always fly in the day of our cruise, get bags, Uber it to the port and enter in Total Wine's address as a "stop" and while enroute.

Kalousdi Posted August 22, 2019 #19 Share Posted August 22, 2019 We stopped at the Publix last year for wine and it worked out great. Only challenge is we took an Uber from the airport to Publix and had issues getting the same Uber to the port. We ended up making it work, but taking a taxi might be easier.
