NCL Getaway Reviews

Hello, I'm a bit confused.   I read that the NCL Getaway was refurbished just a couple of months ago, but what I'm confused about are the reviews.   The reviews that I read was after the ship was refurbished.   I would expect to see 4 - 5 stars, but it ranged from 3 -4 stars.  Overall it's 3.9 out of 5 on *****.   We were thinking of going on this ship for this years NYE cruise.   Can anyone weigh in on the quality and service on the ship?   Thanks for any help you can offer.

we were on the Getaway last December. It was in good shape. Service was eeeeeeeeextremely slow in MDRs.

Quality of what? Shows and entertainment were great. Activities were great (kid trampoline, rock climbing, ropes course). The food to us personally (spoiled by Regal Princess) was borderline atrocious. Allure of the Seas had better food. The room was fine (we had a balcony forward) - clean and spacious.
