CruiseTraveler101 Posted August 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2019 Hello. We're trying to choose a cruise. We have to leave from Lisbon. We don't have a preference where we end up. However, we don't think it will be a Transatlantic cruise. Cruise length could be around 7-14 days. There are many possible ports of call including, Funchal, Mallorca, Canary Islands, etc. I'd love to have some feedback on any ports which were extremely memorable. We, in particular, like well preserved, older architecture, beautiful nature, and authentic local charm. Any help would be most appreciated! Ski Mom 2 Posted September 23, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2019 A year ago we cruised on Windstar’s Wind Surf from Lisbon to Barcelona. They have a couple of different cruises that follow this route. We choose Treasures of Southern Spain and Morocco because we wanted to stop in Tangiers, Morocco to visit a friend in the Peace Corps. We stopped in Tangiers, Malaga, Almeria/Granada, Cartagena, Ibiza, Tarragona and Barcelona. We lived all of our stops! We arrived early into Lisbon and spent 4 days touring close by before boarding. We actually continued on the next two cruises for a fabulous 25 days cruising! Here we are walking the streets of Tangiers with our friends and a private guide. Tangiers was fascinating!
