It depends on the ship and on the cruise director. Not all quests are as "adult" as others.

 

The limits are NOT the same on all ships. It isn't as black and white as some are suggesting. I could go back through all 11 compasses and post the individual wording, but that would be a waste of time. I do not feel the quest I attended with my 14 year old was an adult only activity. If it was the CD would have asked him to leave.

 

The point is: There was no rule as to age on that ship. I didn't "break the rule" as someone so nicely suggested. You can't break a rule that doesn't exist.

They punch two holes in it to show you are under 18 and one hole to show you are under 21. This is how they can check your age by the SeaPass.
