The Fun Researcher Posted September 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2019 We'll be in Jamaica in March. After some helpful excursion suggestions by fellow cruise critic members, we've decided that the Martha Brae rafting looks like a great way to spend part of our day in Jamaica. It's close, only about 4 miles from Falmouth. Royal Caribbean wants to charge $75 per person for round trip transport and rafting. We're a group of 8 so that's $600 for the raft ride and transport. That seems awfully high considering the direct rate for the rafting is $65 (I believe) for two people, or $32.50 each, and it's so close to port. Has anyone done the rafting on their own from Falmouth? If so, how? Thanks, Dan
kcsavage Posted September 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2019 Use Ricardo Riley with libertytoursjamaica.com. So much cheaper and very reliable. He's taken our group twice and we had a wonderful time.
The Fun Researcher Posted September 23, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted September 23, 2019 It’s funny you mention this because I just sent a request in to them asking for prices and availability on our date. I found their name on another thread but I do appreciate the additional recommendation! Thanks Dan
