Palma De Mallorca - Soller or Caves of Drach

Considering either a tour to Soller with the train ride of Caves of Drach during an Oceania cruise in November. For anyone that has done both which did you like better?

Go for the train and Soller I have done both , see the beauty of the island  instead of 45 mins underground and the train   is the better experience.

I did the caves when I was in Mallorca for a sun holiday and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. I’m from a heavily touristic area in Ireland that includes a few cave attractions, and ours in the 80s was leagues ahead of the twee version in Mallorca decades later. Also due to the med climate the caves there are oppressively warm and humid, so do not go near them if you’ve any lung issues.

The Soller train is a great experience. However, many stores in Soller are closed on Sundays or at least they were when we were there a few years ago.  Check that out.

Our cruise ship is in Mallorca on a Friday, so should not be a problem. Has anyone also taken the tram to the Harbor from Soller?
