Rare kernow Posted September 18, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2019 We are also going to Vietnam on Quantum next Feb. There is quite a bit of info in this thread but I don't think anyone knows costs etc until Quantum starts her Singapore sailings Lots of discussion on our roll call about it but I think the general consensus is that those of us from the UK will probably not need anything and if we do the ship will get it and we will have to pay a few dollars. CruiseKeeper Posted September 18, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2019 We just came back from the Voyager (Hong Kong/Vietnam/Singapore) and were supplied Passenger Landing Cards by RCI onboard. We are US citizens. On embarkation, we handed our passports over to staff and by the time we arrived in Vietnam the Landing Cards arrived in our cabins. There was a $6 charge to our seapass account for this service. At our first stop in Vietnam, we presented the Landing cards to Vietnamese officials at the gangway area and were advised to keep the cards on us the whole time in Vietnam. Royal had collection boxes for the Landing Cards as we departed.

Do you happen to know if UK passengers were charged or not? UK nationals do not require a visa for Vietnam, but can't find out whether the ship charges anyway. Sorry, although the majority of the passengers were from the UK and we enjoyed talking with them, the $6 charge wasn’t evident until our final bill that was emailed to us.

Agree...it's a $6.00 pp charge automatically to your SeaPass card....I don't believe it apply's to UK ...based on country of nationality...which RCI knows who this affects. If it's done check with Guest Services to have the charge reversed.
