Car rental in Tortola

Any suggestions / advice for renting a vehicle on Tortola.

 

Would like to rent a car for the day in Tortola. Any car rental places close to cruise dock ? What is the going rate for a

daily rental ?

 

I was in Tortola for a week back in 1999 and had a car rental

as part of the package but the place I picked up that car was

down on the west end near Frenchmans Cay.

Hertz has an office just off the cruise dock. $50 a day would not be outside the normal price for a small 4WD such as a Sidekick (good to have on some roads especially if they are wet). Avis is not as close but still near-by.
