cjankowski Posted January 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2006 HI Couple of questions on a 4 day cruise. What night is formal night? Is better to have early or late dinner seating? I know I have others but know can not remember them.

cb at sea Posted January 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Our 4 day had no "at sea" days, so the formal night was on the day we were docked all day long. I think it was the 2nd day of the cruise. But, does it really matter that much which day they have the formal dinner? Every day on a cruise is awesome! I know I have others but know can not remember them. Hi, I was on the 4-night Monarch cruise last month. Formal night is the second night, which is the San Diego night. I, personally, prefer late seating, because we're night people and all the fun stuff happens after 10PM. However, if you aren't prone to staying up late in "real life," you may not like eating so late. Also, I normally travel with just my DH and I found that there are more kids at the early seating. Enough said about that. BTW, the chocolate buffet is the 3rd night - Catalina. Ask away, as they come to you ...

If you want a 4 or 5 day cruise, try the Enchantment, it is closer to Michigan and it just got refurbished this past summer. Formal night is the 2nd night. cjankowski Posted February 1, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Where does the Enchantment travel from and to? We have free airfare so that is not a concern for us. Just want to have fun and a nice vacation.
