Never went with RCI before.

Considering Oasis if there are allowed smoking areas. Does anyone know?

Thank you.

There is a huge 24-hour indoor smoking lounge on deck 4, just aft of the skating rink.  They sometimes allow gambling there.

Prior to this current dry dock you could smoke on deck 15 port side by the pool area, which I am sure will get moved further aft when the slides go in. Also, you could on deck 16, but not sure if that is staying.

What the other two are referring to is the casino. There is a smoking side & non-smoking side. When I was aboard and in the non smoking side, it did not bother me, but others say the smoke still affects them on that side. You can smoke in the casino, on the smoking side, when the casino is not open for gambling. I am not sure why anyone who does not smoke, allows themselves to be bothered by those smoking in there when the casino is not open for gambling. It's not like non smokers would have a reason to go in there. Some folks just like to complain.

Does anyone know if the smoking policy/areas will change now that Oasis has returned from the refurbishment?  We were just assigned to a cabin on the 14th floor, so I'm curious if we will smell smoke from our location.

Nothing regarding smoking areas on Oasis has been publicly annouced by the cruise line, nor have smoking areas changed on other ships that have been recently dry docked.

Well the smoking area did change on Navigator. Now that JR's is on the deck where the smoking area was, there is no smoking on deck 11. You must go up to deck 12, and there is an area that is somewhat protected by the VCL above.

According to the APP, the areas to smoke on Oasis are still basically the same. Deck 15, just a bit further back (same area as Harmony & Symphony) and 16 seems to be there as well....according to the app.

So there's no smoking on Navigator's deck 11 outside at all, even one side next to the main poll area?

Correct, nothing on 11 any longer.

Have to go up to 12, port side. It's just outside the elevator area. Rain/sun = not good, except that little area in the back of the picture.  However, everything you see here is a smoking area, plus where I am standing taking the pic is smoking, and has a few chairs

Thanks for the info.  I would expect that with the loss of deck 11 smoking, there will be more in the casino.
