I am going on a cruise to acapulco,ixtapa and manzanillo on Feb.28th. I would like to know if there is any tours off of the ship that you can take especially in acapulco.:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

The best tour that we did was the cliff diving excursion with dinner included. We went to this place where these cliff divers dove from cliffs more than 100 feet above sea level into the oncoming tide. These jumps have to be timed just right or someone can get seriously hurt. We were lucky enough to catch a surf & turf dinner across the area from the dive sight with a great view of the cliff divers. Some of them dove with fire torches in each hand into the water. You may have to ask the cruise line what the exact name of this excursion is; I've forgotten it.

Go to the Mexican Riviera Port of Call board, and look for the huge thread started by ACA Port Authority--Roberto works on the pier and tells you how to do this excursion for about 1/3 of what what the cruise line charges.
