isdoo Posted October 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Hi, Is there a captain club email address? If there is a difference in the UK, but I guess the US one is fine. Only showing a US phone number on the site
Toftwood Posted October 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2019 captainsclub.uk@celebritycruises.com I have only dealt with them once recently and they handled my query very efficiently.

Unsure how Celebrity get away with it.

UK & EU law states that you must offer an 01x 02x 03x or 0800 number to any customer who wishes to contact the firm. Sales numbers can be at a premium rate if required. If a premium rate number is advertised to customers then a complaint number must be shown alongside it. That law came in around 3 years ago. They are as it is a contact number for customers to contact the company. Only sales lines are exempt. Celebrity has the same for calling about your cruise. At 55p per minute plus from a mobile phone it is wrong. Might be slightly cheaper from a land line, but still way above what the law allows. On the website I find: 0845 163 3180 (Calls cost 7p per minute + network charge) for customer question. It would be very strange (especially for British market) to have an illegal contact number. But I agree with you: email is often the best way.
laslomas Posted October 25, 2019 #11 Share Posted October 25, 2019 Celebrity only advertise the premium line numbers on their website not free ones or geographical . Really annoying, especially now that the website has changed (supposedly improved) and for some bookings it is necessary to call to book rather than complete online. Who wants to pay 7 pence a minute to make a booking???? But there is a freephone number for Celebrity which is 0800 4414055. This takes you through 5 menu choices before getting to a choice for Celebrity Captain's Club. Also number 01932 834300 will also get you to the exact same menu choices. Cirdan Posted October 25, 2019 #12 Share Posted October 25, 2019 Sometime using the RC numbers is also a good way. And on contract you may have an other land line number. I'm cosmopolitan on where I book with Celebrity (but never used phone for captain Club stuffs), but so, I tend to use the free number also if I should use the number in the contract. In any case all lines go to the same telephone exchange. I think we already noticed that CelebrityCruise is not so good on shore stuffs: website, phone, brochure. Did you noticed that the description map of cabins, on UK brochure are mixed? Or nonsenses on Italian brochure? Or getting captain club newletter with promotions already expired?
