Hi all do you have to pay for tea and coffee when you have a pub lunch

No.  In fact tea and coffee service is complimentary in all of the restaurants.  And in Britannia and the Grills we usually order lattes after lunch and dinner with no charge.

tv24 seems very confident but I'm not sure, tea and coffee usually has to paid for in the pub so I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be complimentary at lunchtime in the same way that it is in the Britannia restaurant.

I could well be wrong, we usually have alcohol in the Golden Lion !

All drinks are to be paid for in the Golden Lion, menu on Cunard site lists prices for hot drinks.

Others have confirmed there is a acharge for drinks, but if you have OBC you could therefore consider drinks as being free.

Just another reply to let you know for sure that there has always been a charge for a beverage in the Pub. You can get a glass of water and then go for a coffee or tea elsewhere, after you finish eating. The Pub has nowhere to make tea or coffee and they have to go to another place to get tea or coffee. You are suppose to drink beer with their food. I am not a beer drinker though.

 

Last cruise I did find out that they do have dessert. Just one choice but it was one that I might have ordered if there was a selection. It was chocolate and it was good.

 

Oh!!!!!  Having fish and chips in the Pub on QM2. Wish I was joining you.

I've actually seen people om QM2, go all the way up to Kings Court and bring free coffees back to the Golden Lion.

 

All hot drinks are made elsewhere, such as Cafe Carinthia, and are charged.

People do the same Golden Lion journey with fruit cordials on all the Queens
