It looks like the cruise terminal Royal uses In Vallarta is about 3 miles from the old "center city" section.  Dose Royal run, or is there a shuttle that can be used to reach the old section of the city?

Easier to just get a taxi, plenty of them lined up as soon as you are on the street. About $10 each way for the taxi ride. Plenty available when you want to return. If you use Uber they are now all over PV and slightly cheaper.  Almost impossible to find a driver who dose not speak English and US dollars are preferred.  Probably get your change back in Pesos which I always leave as extra for the cabin steward. happy cruising
