Transport Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral

How much does it cost (on average) from MCO to Port Canaveral......and how long does it take?  Planning on arriving very late on 11/29 and staying at the airport for a cruise leaving on 11/30.  Returning on 12/7 directly from Port Canaveral to MCO for an 11:25 AM flight (and I can't do self assist disembarkation).  Thanks in advance.

From curbside at MCO to the port should be under an hour as it’s a straight shot on 528.  There are good shuttle options like Cortrans, you can always take Uber/Lyft, or one way car rentals depending on how many are in your party.

For your return trip since you say you can’t do self disembark I’d ask for the earliest departure group you can get as you don’t have a large window.  Then either arrange for a car service or call Uber/Lyft as they’ll be direct.  Uber will be ~$70 for UberX, not sure on shuttles or private car pricing.

Shared shuttle service from MCO to PC runs about $20-25 per person. Some of the services pick up at some airport hotels, saving you a trip back to the airport. One way car rentals are easy and let you stay, done and ship where you want.  All of the car rental agencies near the port will shuttle you to the port after you drop off the car.

For an 11:25 flight you need to be at MCO by NLT 10:00, and 9:30 is better.  With the ride from port to MCO taking just under an hour that translates into off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs and immigration by about 8:15 or so.  A low number and either Uber or a cab should do it.

I'm not sure what cruise line you are on, but Carnival has a special place for people to meet who have early flights.  You would need to go to guest services before the last day and get a letter giving you more information.  I showed up 45 minutes before the time listed on the letter as people were just beginning to line up.  We were escorted off of the ship 1/2 hour later, so still before the meetup time on the letter.

Most of the people in the early flight section had their own luggage, but not all.  So, there must be a process for people who have early flights but are unable to carry their own luggage.  I am not sure if other cruise lines have a similar process, but it doesn't hurt to check with guest services.

We used Cortrans shuttle for our ride from the port to the airport.  It was $20 per person.  We were off of the ship a little after 7:00 am.  We boarded their shuttle around 7:20 am and were headed to the airport at 7:25.  We arrived at MCO at 8:15 am.  I would definitely not hesitate to use them again.
