Any Black Sea cruise recommendations that doesn't include Greece?

Yes, the Ponant itinerary looks like a good one -- more unusual stops in the Black Sea region, but nothing on the eastern end.

The problem is that most ships like to start/end the cruise in a larger city with good infrastructure (such as Athens). There is a nice cruise on Azamara Journey, for example, that starts and ends in Athens but other than that includes a nice Black Sea itinerary as well as some Turkish ports.

Many lines are a bit skittish about Turkey, though I personally wouldn't hesitate to start and/or end in Istanbul, a wonderful city.

OP: Is there any reason you have to avoid Greece?
