Norwegian Sky Review and Photos

I've seen a lot of requests for photos of the Norwegian Sky. I just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas on this ship yesterday. I've included some photos of the ship, our balcony, room, and the food. If you're interested in reading my entire review of the ship, you can find it here.

Did you use your spa credit in the end?

 

I think you would enjoy one of the larger ships as so much entertainment on them.

Just a quick question:  Have you ever sailed a Breakaway or Breakaway-plus class ship on NCL?  If so, how much smaller does the Sky feel vs those ships?  In your opinion, is the motion more pronounced on the Sky vs the BA/BA+ ships?

We didn't use the spa credit. We didn't like the fact that we'd have to spend $75+ in order to use this "benefit" of Priority Access.

No, this was the only Norwegian cruise I've been on. Definitely a good deal for the price, but because I was disappointed in the lack of entertainment and food options, I don't have any plans to cruise again on Norwegian in the near future. 

 

As for the motion, I never got sick or noticed any significant motion. I have had issues on other cruises, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any problems on this ship in that regard.

Myself and my wife got off the Breakaway in Sept 2019. Had the time of our lives. I have cruised on the Dawn. We did not like that one as much. We know this is a smaller ship. We are looking for a small trip before the holiday. I suggest giving the bigger ships a try. Had a blast

Thanks for the photos and review! We will be sailing end of March on Sky, and just negotiated an aft balcony upgrade from our mid ships balcony. The price had dropped, so we had two offers, upgrade in room, or $75 credit. We took the better view, along with bigger balcony.
