Water Shoes Needed at Emerald Beach?

Are there stones, rocks, coral in the water at Emerald Beach?

Will I need water shoes?

Pre hurricanes the beaches along Lindbergh Bay were sandy and water clear.  We always wear water shoes along any beach just as precaution.

I have been to Emerald beach many times never had any issue with it being rocky or need to wearing water shoes.Beautiful and nice beach.

Just curious if conditions changed since the hurricanes.  Great place before.

I’ve been to Emerald twice since the hurricane, in May & November 2018 & unfortunately yes. Still a good choice, especially if docked @ Crown Bay but the beach seemed smaller.
