Cabin upgrade..what is the best you ever had?

Just wondering what kind of upgrades do cruise lines give for early bookings?

 

I am wondering if i should wait for deals or book now and hope for good upgrade.

 

I am looking @ the Carnival Valor sailing 9/17/06.

You’re lucky you’re on carnival. If you have booked a guarantee then you have a great chance of getting upgraded. When on RCCL they seem to book you into the same cat as the guarantee is booked in and not upgrade you for free. That is about the only downfall with RCCL.
