Nassau 2:00 pm to midnight

We have a stop at Nassau on February 8. I didn’t realize when I booked the cruise the horrible hours for this port. My mistake.

Looking for suggestions on what to do. Seems like any sort of a beach day is pretty much out.  Given the hours the available excursions are pretty limited too.  Blue Lagoon had been at the top of my list. Also looks like pretty much everything besides bars and restaurants is closed by five. So I’m figuring out the best will have a couple of hours to see anything. Definitely interested in the Queens staircase. How would you spend your few hours?

Also is it safe for two ladies (50-ish) to be walking around on their own after dark or would we be best to just spend the evening on the ship?

Thanks!
