sim cards for bahamas

Hi,

 

We will be on a Carnival cruise next week. It stops at Nassau, Grand Turk and Princess Cays.  We are considering getting a Sim Card for our phones to use while we are at these places.  Is there one that is recommended? Thank you.

Since these island are in 2 different countries, it would be easier to just turn on international service with your home provider. 

I think Princess Cay only has service off the ship, so check with them about rates and charges.

Thank you scubagirl. I was hoping there was a a sim card similar to European ones that cover multiple countries.

As scubagirrl said, it's probably easy to get international coverage for the month from your provider.  It's often just $10 or so.  With our T-Mobile plan it's already included free, same with Google Fi.

I have Google Fi.  Data is cheap and texts are free, but calls are billed at 20¢/min
