Dinner & Show Scheduling

I'm new to all the reservation while cruising.

So you all say it's important to get your show reservation 90 days in advance.

If you buy  1 or 2 dinners, Say Chops & Izumi Hibachi but you can't make reservation until your on board.

So if I understand correctly I need to make sure I rush to make dinner reservation so as to not conflict with the shows I booked.

I'm thinking Izumi would be the harder one since they usually only have 10 per table at a time.

What's been your experience.
