mmm the reply with the visa info has disappeared. I'm just about to make final payment on our cruises - the info that was posted about the Egypt visa was accurate.

Not sure what happened to my post.  I didn't take it down.  I was told by cruise company everyone would get a quick stamp in Egypt.  Hope this helps.  Let's see if this is deleted?

We have been told both verbally by phone and by email from the cruise company that we do not need to get a visa in advance as this will be done at the port with a stamp in the passport that will allow us entry for the day. We are really looking forward to the trip and will certainly post about our experience when we return. 😊

The ship takes procession of your passport when you board in Athens and they will have Egypt place a visa-on-arrival stamp in it when they get there. You don't need to obtain a visa on your own.
