Bingo on your own tablet-medallion ship?

Hi we were just recently on the Royal and saw that you can play bingo on your own tablet from anywhere...I did not have the ocean casino app installed beforehand and it didnt want to download while on the ship so I could not try it out.

My question is ...has anyone done this on their own tablet?  How did it work?  Did it do it just like their tablets...auto dab the #s, show you your best card and alert you when 1 away and when you won?  What happens if you win...do you share it with the pot of people in the actual lounge?  When we played we were in the lounge on their tablet and I only heard of winners in the room so just curious if anyone tried this on their own tablet.

Thanks in advance.

We tried this on the final game because we were doing the Royal Tea. I got nervous as to how they’d know we had bingo since we weren’t in the room, so I left my mother-in-law to finish her tea and play there, and I raced back to Vista to finish the game. I’ve never encountered someone winning from a different location on the ship, so I still don’t know how that works. On my next Medallion cruise, I’d ask.

The playing itself is the same as borrowing one of their tablets. You can buy and use your phone.

Great thanks.

Did you end up winning after your mad dash to the Vista lounge?
