Norwegian Bliss- Which Deck for Cabin-Family

Hoping for some experienced advice/feedback.  I am traveling with my husband and two young children- 5 and 3. We are going to book the Bliss out of NYC on March 8th. We have the option of a mid-ship balcony Room on Deck 10 or Mini-suite on Deck 13 or 14.  The Deck 10 cabin is one cabin from the mid ship elevators. The Deck 13/14 cabins are slightly more aft and in between the two elevators. I am trying to decide if its better to be completely mid ship (deck 10)-puts us closer to the kids program(on deck 5) and the dining/theaters/casino or if we should go with the mini-suite and be further from the elevators, higher up but closer to the pool/buffet.  Any advice?  I overthink too much 😕

I will say that I have been immediately in the closest room to the elevators on the -away class ships many times now and there is no noise from the elevators themselves or the traffic to/from them like you would expect. I now specifically book rooms right next to the elevators, because I find it so convenient to not have to try to traverse the narrow hallways.

Just booked 14758 on the Bliss for March yesterday and will be sailing in that same room next week. I always try to get an angled balcony. On the Bliss I like to be right by the mid-ship elevators, since the Observation Lounge and Garden Cafe are on the front of the ship.

In 14758, I will be out my door, up the stairs, and into the Observation Lounge in seconds!

I was closer to the aft elevator lobby and preferred those even when I ate in the buffet, because the forward elevators are far busier. Important during winter cold and vomit season.

You probably won't read about it but Bliss had outbreaks of both respiratory and GI illness with lots of extra cleaning during the just-concluded Panama Canal Repo cruise. Coughers and snifflers in all the public spaces.!

Toward the end the library was closed and you weren't allowed to serve yourself in the buffet.
