Howie411 Posted November 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2019 Going on the Harmony of the Sea this Sunday and I noticed I can buy a dining deal for Izumi. But it seems like a very poor deal unless their Sushi is super expensive. What is it typically cost per sushi roll? So this is $45 for 1 person: - Start off with one (1) Miso Soup and one (1) starter, like Shrimp Tempura. Pick your choice of one (1) Signature Roll or a flavorful bowl of Ramen. Enjoy five (5) pieces of your favorite type of Sashimi or Nigiri — and top it all off with one (1) delicious dessert like mochi ice cream offered in a variety of flavors. BNBR Posted November 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2019 I wouldn't pay that. The rolls are in the $12 range or so. Get a couple of rolls and call it a day. Also, take a look at the sushi making class. It's fun and you get a couple of rolls out of it, too.
Cutigerlady Posted November 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2019 We just bought the sushi by the roll. We ate 4 rolls and 2 starters between 4 people for less than $80. I think my kids split a dessert too. I wouldn’t buy the dining deal. We had no problem walking in without a reservation at lunch and they never rushed us. We were on the Harmony. hotsauce126 Posted November 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2019 For that price I'd just skip cruise ship sushi and wait until I got back on land
BNBR Posted November 28, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 28, 2019 Just double checked, rolls are $13 - $17 each. Included with the UDP. Not sure I'd pay full price unless you don't have sushi near you at home. Pretty darn good restaurant though.
