Does Carnival do anything special on NYE for passengers?

NYE is great fun on a Carnival ship!  We did NYE on the Magic in ‘15, and the fun started with free champagne on embarkation.  There was a big party on Lido on NYE, with more free champagne, and a balloon drop in the atrium.  Free hats and noisemakers as well.  I loved bringing in the new year on a Carnival ship!

Last year, they had a special dinner menu and had hats, crown and noise makers for every guest in the dining room. They had a balloon drop in the atrium at 11pm that had New Years wishes written in them by the guests, although I heard they weren’t doing it this year. At midnight, they have a huge deck party and passed out lots of free champagne, glow sticks, glasses and other free stuff. The count down was awesome with the horn going off. It was our favorite cruise so far and we are going again this year! Go on one if you can!

Nye on a Carnival ship is like Times Square in the Caribbean. Lots of champagne (at boarding also) and tone of Carnival FUN.  You will not be disappointed.

So much fun NYE cruise.  You won't regret it, so much to do and so many different areas celebrating at midnight 🙂  I can't wait !!

All of the above! It is soooo much fun! This will be our 3rd NYE sailing and we can't wait! We've done different ships each year and so far each was amazing!
