NavyCruiser Posted December 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2019 Looking at booking for our upcoming cruise's shore excursions online, various stated discounts varies from "Pre Cruise Deal" to "10% Off Onboard Prices" to "25% Off Onboard Prices", and those changes almost daily. Does anyone knows why/how/when they adjust/change the pricing? Last cruise we erroneously waited for a better than the 25% off onboard pricing, only to find it dropped to 20% off, then we immediately booked before it dropped further. We are 50 days from cruise, The ones we're interested in are now 10% off. Any suggestions for best timing to book, or wait until maybe better discount pricing down the road? Clarea Posted December 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2019 Price changes are not predictable.
Nemomof3 Posted December 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2019 Also watch the actual price not the % off. Often it will say a different percent off when the price stays the same. You can always buy it when you are happy with the price then if it drops you can cancel and rebook.
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted December 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2019 I buy the excursion as soon as we know we want it. Then, almost daily, I check prices and cancel/rebook if they go down. Sometimes, if our interests change, we completely cancel and do not rebook.
