SMN73 Posted December 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2019 Hi all, I tried searching but couldn't find any results. I apologize if this has been answered somewhere. I am looking at my 1st MSC cruise on the Divina Jan 28-31. I can fly out of MIA at 11:03 day of departure. American Airlines. Is that doable? Thanks in advance! BNBR Posted December 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2019 (edited) Doable, yes. You would want to carry your luggage off the ship yourself with the self-assist group. I would inquire with the Guest Services desk onboard what the procedure is for self assist with early flights. If the ship is significantly delayed, which is rare, you could miss that flight. But things happen, right? Under normal circumstances it's a very easy and reasonable time to fly out. Most likely you will end up at your gate for a couple of hours before boarding. JohninDC Posted December 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2019 For an 11:03 flight you need to be at MIA by about 9:30, and 9:00 is better. The taxi ride from POM to MIA takes about 15-20+ minutes depending upon traffic and the day of the week. As suggested above carry your bags off or get a very low number for debark.
