Premium Plus Beverage Package

I'll be sailing on the Breakaway in January. I already have the Bev Pkg and was looking at the Premium Plus. It would end up costing me an additional $29 +/- per day.  The web page (https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/premium-plus-beverage-package.pdf) says "All Beverages Included." Other inclusions: Veuve Clicquot and many other wines by the bottle during dinner; some nice single-malt Scotches, and "40% discount on all wine bottles, wine and spirit experiences, tastings and flights purchased on board. Sounds good. BUT, in the fine print it says: " The following will receive a 40% discount when purchased on board; non-select bottles of wine (champagne and sparkling included), “Wine and Spirit Experiences”, tastings, and flights. Package does not include: Room service, mini bar purchases, wine dispenser, vending machines, pre-cruise wine bottle purchases, Wine and Spirit Experiences, tastings or flights."

Am I hallucinating?  Were THEY drinking when they wrote this up? In ONE paragraph these items are listed as INCLUDED AND NOT INCLUDED.

Anyone have experience with the Premium Plus they'd like to share?

Thank you!!

I don't get where you're writing that it says items are included and not included?  It's not saying the Wine and spirit experiences, tastings or flights are included in the second part, it's saying you get a 40% discount on them.

Aha! Then I was drinking when I read it. 😋 Upon careful re-reading of "the fine print," I see what NCL meant.

Thank you for the prompt (and not snarky, though you certainly would have been within your right to be so - LOL)) reply!

I've been thinking about the PPBP and the more I think about it, I am inclined to go with just the regular beverage package included and add Viva Vino.  I am thinking we'd buy 4 or 6 bottles for the week through the Viva Vino package.   Brut Chandon is no Veuve Clicquot, but first world problem.  And by several accounts Veuve by the bottle is not included in the PPBP any more.  Also for the VV package, I like that we can have some bottles delivered to our room or elect to have a bottle at dinner.

I also rethought about the bottled water and energy drinks for the kids under the PPBP.  From what I have read the tap water is absolutely fine to drink and I thought there was a lot more than redbull offered.   I was thinking more sports drinks I guess like gatorade.  I'm not giving my kids redbull.

I just got off the Sky, and Veuve is very much still included in the upgraded package. 5 day cruise= 11 bottles of the stuff. I had to go to service desk and ask them to have it at my 2 favorite watering holes ( Casino and Atrium) and I drank it by the glass in these 2 venues, and at dinner every night I had a bottle. IMHO very much worth the upgrade price if you are planning on drinking bubbles.
