Although E405 is not listed E404 and many others are.

This site for view/obstructions may give you a better idea of what to expect.

Has anyone stayed in this cabin?  If so can you tell me the pros and cons?

E404 is an obstructed view cabin (Part of lifeboat). E 405 is also clasified as an obstructed view cabin on the Princess website however it does not have an obstruction when looking straight out. Also the balcony is slightly larger than most. Below is a picture showing the "obstructed" view from E405. You can also click this link https://sites.google.com/site/royalregalprincess/home/8-emerald to see the location etc.

We were in E405.   The balcony is deeper!  Mid-ship location.  Can't miss.

The possible cons might possibly be...  There is a light just below on the promenade that stayed on, and is not covered, so that it does also shine up towards your cabin.  The blue lights on the SeaWalk will also cast a slight blue glow.  (some were not lighting!  They need to fix that.). I had no problem with that at all.

There is now a small square little stool/table, instead of the three legged round one.

Unless you are also considering another cabin for a specific reason, E405 is great!
