So can you use the OBC for casino booked cruises? I have over 200,000 points but stopped playing because I was thinking that it was pointless. We always book casino rates.

Doesn't hurt to try.  The worst is they will say no and you can get a refund of your loyalty points or the best outcome is getting OBC.   I couldn't find anything in the terms and conditions saying it cannot be combined with casino rates.  T&C says the OBC is combinable with "standard/full fares and restricted fares."  Here are the terms and conditions of the OBC from MyVegas in case you wanted to see:

Must be redeemed within 30 days of a new cruise reservation. Limited to sail dates within one year of redemption. Reward is applicable to new individual bookings only and is subject to verification. Only valid for new reservations made through Royal Caribbean Reservations at clubroyale@rccl.com. Not available for reservations made through online travel sites. Only one myVEGAS Reward can be used per reservation. Credit is in USD, non-transferable and shall not exceed $100.00. Credit is combinable with standard/full fare rates and restricted rates. Credit is not combinable with any other offer or promotion. Must be 21 years of age or older. Misrepresentation of reward will void this offer and re-fare booking to prevailing rate. Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice.

  • 1 year later...

They are currently offering the discounted rates and 3/4/or 5 night cruises FREE out of Galveston & Miami.

I just snagged one of the 5 nighters, looks like these silly apps eventually pay off.

I've found that the offers become available once a day at noon.

Just wondering how they calculate the 10%.   I know it’s before taxes and port charges.  But say there is the 60% off second guest promo going on.   Is the 10% applied to the cost before the promo discount? Or after?

I’m just trying to decide if it’s worth it to cash in for the 10% off, or use my points for OBC over multiple cruises.
