looking for Miami pre cruise hotel

I'm currently booked at a hotel but have read recent reviews that are very concerning. Looking to find a different one that has both airport shuttle and cruise port shuttle.

Only some hotels near the MIA airport offer borg airport and port shuttles. Okay if you are arriving late and just want a place to sleep. Check La Quinta East, MIA Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon.

 

better option, IMHO, is to stay downtown and see/experience some of Miami. Look at Hampton Inn Mary Brickell, Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Doubletree and various Marriott properties. Lots of local dining options within walking distance of all these hotels. Uber from MIA will run under $20 and another $10+ ride will get you to the port the next day.

What time are you flying in? 

 

Looking for a hotel with a cruise and port shuttle limits your choices. Extremely limits it. Miami is not a big city by land size. My advice, forget about the shuttles and pick a hotel that you will enjoy in an area you will enjoy. 

 

Most people focus on Downtown/Brickell because it is right near the port.

Comfort Inn/Suites North Miami Airport has both for free. 

I'm booked there for this summer so I can't tell you much about it yet.
