Tabanana Posted January 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Has anyone used a delivery service to their hotel the night before your cruise......considering packing lighter for the flight and using this type of service for additional needs prior to boarding....if so is there any watch outs? JohninDC Posted January 21, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Welcome to the boards? 😎 I've had Amazon deliver to a hotel without issue - front desk held the package, checked my ID, and I was good to go. Food, beverages and health supplies are available at just about any CVS/Walgreens - there must be 100+ of those scattered around Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Cocoa Beach -- what would you have shipped that you cannot just purchase in FLA? 🤔
Tabanana Posted January 21, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted January 21, 2020 We fly in at 1:00 pm with others a day ahead......and want to go do the water taxi after we get to our hotel.....I just don't know if I will have time and don't want to put others on hold.....I never thought about Amazon prime to a hotel.....I need to check on this. JohninDC Posted January 21, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2020 If you stay in the downtown/17th street area (Embassy Suites, Hyatt, etc.) you are stumbling distance from the Harbor Shops with Total Wine, a grocery store, etc. You can pre-order on line at TW and your wine/booze will be waiting for you - they even deliver around here in Northern VA! 😉
BlueHerons Posted January 22, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2020 I use Shipt and Amazon Whole Foods delivery so much, I've stopped going to the grocery store. Both work well here.
