ranchette Posted January 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Does anyone know if they have a football pool for the Super Bowl in any of the venues?
Roadsofa Posted January 21, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2020 This being my 5th Super Bowl cruise in the last 6 years I can tell you that what preparations for the game that are done seem to depend on the staff of the ship. I've had cruise director staff that had burgers/dogs, nachos, popcorn etc... along with some Super Bowl themed games, decorations etc... Other ships have seem ill prepared for the game. I'll be on this cruise as well. This whole event is going to be all tossed on its ear this time; no PATS and will not be in the Caribbean yet. It will be a little cold to sit outside to watch this one.
forgotmyCCname Posted January 21, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Booked our Super Bowl cruise about 8 minutes after our PATS were eliminated. It just won't feel like a Super Bowl!

If you mean, like betting, yes, the casino sells squares.
cruiservictor Posted January 22, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2020 The subject of the thread refers to "Bliss". If you are asking if the Bliss will have Super Bowl pools, our scheduled departure time from NY is 3PM, which is often delayed somewhat. Even if we leave exactly on time, we will not be in international waters until 4:30, maybe 5:00, when the casino can open. Kickoff is 6:30. I would be very surprised if they try to sell 100 boxes in that short a period of time. We have been on several cruises on Super Bowl Sunday, and they have filled up several of these boards. We even won a couple of boxes over the years.
