reduced gift cards

I know AARP use to sell RC gift cards for a reduced price. I understand they no longer do. Does anywhere else. I'm looking for a reduced price to apply to my OBC.

 

Any help is appreciated.

There are have several discussions about this kind of "gift card".  They all seem to need to be used when initially booking your cruise, and have many onerous restrictions.

None that I can recall reported here.

Raise.com has them. They are the AARP type. Do not use. They are not usable with travel agents or casino rates among many other restrictions. They are a PITA to redeem. We learned the hard way!

Can you expand on what you mean that they are a PITA to redeem?

I bought one of these and it comes with a ton of restrictions.  

• Certificate may be used only as a form of payment toward a new reservation made directly with Royal Caribbean International. After the gift certificate has been applied to a new reservation, the reservation may be transferred to a travel agency.
• Certificate value may only be applied toward the cruise fare for Royal Caribbean International sailings quoted in USD and cannot be used toward payment of the required initial deposit. The initial deposit must be paid in USD at the time of booking.
• All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking
• Certificate may not be applied to a reservation within a group or charter program.
• Certificate may not be used to obtain onboard credit or to settle any shipboard charges.

Also you have to email them a copy and wait up to 10 business days for them to apply the credit.

I used them and learned the same thing but I was able to get a full refund, lesson learned.

10% off at Allstate drive wise app.  We use them often on cruises. Call royal and use multiple certificates to mostly pay the fare in full at the time of booking.
 

 

Make sure it is a cruise that are definitely going to sail. 
 

 

check Carnival board for “codes”.
