Bliss - Alaska - Elegant night?

Hiya,

 

I’m wondering if there is an elegant night on the 5/10 Alaska sailing? I haven’t been able to find a schedule and with us being in port several nights I was wondering if there was one planned and what night.

No "Formal" night on any NCL ship.  The night of the 1st Sea Day " Norwegian's Night Out".  A few people dress but not many.  The Captain is usually in the lobby for pictures for about 30 minutes or so.

I was on Bliss last May and honestly my perception was there were less dressed up than my Caribbean cruises. I bought dresses but ended up in jeans every night - kept me warmer.

Shorts are allowed in all restaurants for all meals except Ocean Blue and Le Bistro where gents are requested to wear long pants. Any dresses we bring on cruises usually are never worn. 
 

You are on vacation. You can dress up or dress down as much as you want. (NCL’s Dress up or Not policy).

Every night on every NCL cruise is 'elegant' night.  Every night on every NCL cruise is casual night.  It's called freestyle.  NCL pioneered it.  Dress how you want when you want.
