Can RSO’s travel on MSC ?

Me and my friend booked a cruise with carnival but he was denied because he’s on the registry so we booked a cruise on MSC instead about two months ago and we set sail at the end of February. I’ve asked plenty of times if RSO’s were allowed to cruise with them or not, but I got a different answer each time. Any one have experience with MSC & know of if they do criminal background checks on passengers or not ? Thanks

 Everyone is processed through TSA and US Customs.  If they are a Registered Sex Offender, may not be allowed to board.

I know a person who is a RSO and he was allowed on and got married on a Carnival ship year before last.
