Internet on the Horizon

Can you purchase Internet for a day or two on the cruise or do you have to get it for the entire cruise? Also, how is it on the Horizon?

to answer your 2nd question- I have been on the Horizon twice and the internet worked really well- I don't think I had 1 issue the whole week. Have a great cruise!

I did a Live Review from the Horizon a few months ago, and the internet worked great...

The Social plan is the only one that can't be purchased on a 24-hour basis.

 

The Vista class ships, plus the Sunrise, all have the most upgraded internet service. Not only in terms of speed but also coverage. Those ships have a lot more access points throughout the ship, which provides more coverage and helps cut down on overloaded access points. I'm reminded of a live review by CC user Gettys84 last year. He posted screenshots of a couple speed tests he performed from his balcony, both being 7-8 Mb/s. Not necessarily the greatest in terms of most home internet services these days, or even some cellular data speeds, but that'd get the job done for most things done on a cruise ship.
