Rare SuzieQ521 Posted February 8, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Hello; First time cruise with baby...he will be 22 months when we sail to Alaska this June on Holland America. Pic below of our balcony room...only possible space for pack n play is in front of door [would move table). We definitely need some kind of separator between our bed and our son so we all can sleep better as he is used to sleeping in his own room...any recommendations as to configurations, magnets, curtain etc? thanks! cb at sea Posted February 8, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Many folks will bring some heavy-duty magnets...put the on the ceiling and hang a shower curtain from them. As you can see, the curtain by the bed is merely decorative.
soozles Posted February 9, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2020 I heard people get a thick shower curtain and hang them from some heavy duty magnets. You can also buy covers that slip over the pack and play sides to black it out. I’m sure it probably does not abide by the AAP safe sleep guidelines but at 22 months it’s not a sids risk. Rare SuzieQ521 Posted February 11, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Thank you. Yes, guess the best thing is to get magnets and hang a thick curtain starting at the end of the decorative curtain
