Viking Danube Romantic excursions

Hello Viking Travelers:

 

I was wondering which excursions offered by Viking for the Romantic Danube cruise (both optional and included) that travelers love or dislike.  I would like to book worthwhile excursions, but avoid those that people find were a waste of precious travel time. We intend to travel during the summer.

What ports will you be stopping at? I've done two river cruises on the Danube, 1 from Budapest to Prague (Nürnberg was final Port) and one from Vienna to Nürnberg, neither on Viking. I'm happy to share some ideas with you.

Budapest, vienna, Krems, Passau, Regensburg, Kelheim, Nuremberg

We did the excursion from the Prague extension to Terezin.  Found it meaningful and worthwhile. We did not go to Kelheim but found the included excursions in the other ports basic but worthwhile.

@Judy1985Are you aware of the Roll Call posting here for everyone taking this route with Viking next year (all sailings)?
You can also put an entry on a shared spreadsheet to list your specific ship and dates. And it has links to previous years' Romantic Danube roll calls. Good info getting shared.
