bobbyd6363 Posted February 12, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2020 We are sailing out of San Juan aboard Freedom of the Seas. We cannot decide between the Caribe Hilton and the Candado Vanderbilt. I have read all the TripAdvisor reviews and am really torn. I am looking for recommendations between the two. What are the good and bad of these two properties? Any help would be appreciated! negn Posted February 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2020 We spent a couple of precruise days at Intercontinental. Absolutely beautiful. Right on the beach and fabulous pools.

Question: How was the noise level of the La Concha? I see there is a Casino in the La Concha and that the lobby becomes a "club" on the weekends

What we liked most was the quality of rooms, the service and that can always find a quiet spot on the beach. Food was good, but not to Marmalade standard, so we always dined out. Hope this assists.
