Flowers and plants:  Only permitted if ordered through Carnival.  Flowers/plants cannot be taken off the ship at any port.

I think some ports aren’t as strict as others. Many have reported on Alaska cruises from Seattle, they have visited Pike Place Market before embarking and picked up a bouquet and had no problem boarding with them. They have the most astounding bouquets at The Market.

Ten years ago we stopped at Pike Place Market the day before the cruise, we were awed by the many bouquets. My wife got one and our friends got another---no problem bringing them onboard.
