Are there shaded areas at Chill Island (Coco Cay)?

Just wondering...I'm looking for the least developed area of Coco Cay. Would be great if there are some areas to sit that are at least partially shaded. From what I read, Chill Island is mostly the area that made up the original Coco Cay, before the development. I'm told this is the best place for snorkeling also. How far is Chill Island from where they serve the lunch buffet?  Thanks for any and all suggestions since I've not been there yet but will be on an upcoming RCCL cruise.
