I don't recall myself (although I did get it one time, that way -- after the cruise, not onboard) what that gives you! So far I have found the onboard "future cruise" person so rude I would not book with him. And that was just overhearing him tell someone, "I don't have time to talk to you, make your decision and come back." Refares in general are actually 'cancel-and-rebook', that's why it can't be done if your room class is sold out. It all comes down to "buyer beware", naturally. ETA: about the 15 months -- The payment date given was June 10, NOW if that were June 10 2021, that would have been about 90 days. As I wasn't interested in the deal, I did not pursue the question.
