3418ahl Posted February 23, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2020 We are contemplating a future cruise credit. Does anyone know if this credit has to be used against a "brochure price" from Seabourn, or if I can go through my travel agent?
ab21au Posted February 23, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) From what I understand (told to me from my TA) the FCC will be linked to our SB account. (so I assume from that you can book any way you like). As it turns out, we have already booked a cruise for August and we were told that SB would refund the FCC towards the cruise we have booked sometime in the next few weeks. Our balance is due May 3rd by which time, I understand, the FCC will have been applied. Edited February 23, 2020 by ab21au

We have booked many cruises using our chosen travel agent and had the 5% future cruise credit discount applied to their best price. Not all of the cruise costs (taxes etc.) are discountable. In fact, when we had a future cruise credit, Seabourn even notified our travel agent.
