IWKCB Posted March 2, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2020 On our last RCL cruise leaving New Orleans, the casino wasn’t open at all on departure night. Is this the norm? I thought it might be some rule while in Mississippi River. Leaving from NOLA again this summer and curious what to expect.
Sand and Seas Posted March 2, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2020 On NCL ships they usually open 30 to 60 minutes after sail-away. We have cruised out of NOLA at least once a year for the last 4 or 5 years and it has always opened by an hour after sail-away.
clcjdn Posted March 3, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2020 Same with Carnival. We did them this year and NCL the year before Thanksgiving week. Both times 30-60 minutes after we left.
rmvst Posted March 4, 2020 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2020 Going out of NOLA, it only takes minutes for the casino to open after leaving.
